Our work is promoting a Healthy and Active week. Today is volley ball all day. I am not a competitive person in any extent! I find that every time I have tried there is always that one person who ruins it with crossing the line smack talk or being a sore loser. This has turned me off from it, but I do love competing with myself and find myself to be a rather good sport. When my Daughter loses a game I always tell her that she won knowledge, seeing as she can go over in her mind where things could have improved and this may help for next time.
The part I love about today was an email with a quiz about “super fruits”. I am an apple nut; I eat 2 or 3 apples a day. What I love about apples is there full of fiber and fill you up, are chalked full of water and taste good with just about anything, cooked or uncooked. Along with this super fruit was information on other fruits I never gave much thought to?
I added the link to the super fruits and the quiz that came with the email.
You’ve heard of Super foods, but…Superfruits?
Not every fruit qualifies. Those deemed “super” by nutrition scientists are packed with antioxidants, fiber, vitamins and minerals, and other nutrients that can help you live longer, look better, and even prevent disease.
Best of all, most are widely available, even at your local grocery store. Super fruits are best consumed whole, not processed. So if possible, try to buy and eat these fruits fresh.
Take a look at the below link below for the 23 Super fruits You Need Now!
